Amy, I don't have time to write a lot now, but I can comment that

Shoemaker, for me, was an excellent doctor, very helpful. He isn't

exactly in the Lyme camp in the sense that he doesn't oversee longterm

antibiotics and he doesn't even use IgeneX labs, but if you go to him

to diagnose mold problems he UNDERSTANDS the whole Lyme issue and how

it ties in with mold issues.

You should go to Glueck's website. He's not very involved with infection. He believes in osteonecrosis of the jaw, but doesn't have any connection to osteomyelitis of the jaw (bone infection). He focuses mostly on coagulation and cholesterol. His research on hereditary coagulation defects has led to major breakthroughs in thrombotic conditions leading to heart diseas and stroke, as well as discovering that women who haven't been able to conceive, often can conceive when treated for coagulation disorders. While his focus is not on infection, his work seems to have a direct impact on those of us with chronic infections. For instance, one of the defects I have, which is a defeciency in nitric oxide production and/or utilization, leads to an increased inability to fight infection. penny amydent9 <amydent9@...> wrote: do drs shoemaker, gleuck know anything about lyme or would they bewilling to work wiht a lyme speicailist.when you work wiht these guys do they also work wiht an ENT or do thesinus indentifications themselves?thanks, amy
