Guest guest
Penny,I really think you should see a doctor about that. The doctor might say not to worry but at least then you'll know. The last time I had blood drawn (and I've had MANY samples drawn without after effects) I developed some tiny bright red dots on the skin near the puncture site. I had never experienced anything like it before and actually tried to wash them away at first thinking it must be some sort of dirt. Lots of scrubbing later I realized it wasn't :- ). Anyway they were gone after about three days. Also my mum once developed an absolutely gigantic bruise after having blood drawn. So I've seen reactions to the procedure that people's own bodies have been able to deal with. But I've never before heard of a reaction like yours. Therefore I would not hesitate to see a doctor myself. It might turn out to be of no concern at all. But, you know, better safe than sorry..... nne
