Guest guest
Thought you folks might be interested in this. Here's the headset I wear when I have to be at the office. They work very well. They take a little bit of getting used to as they fit pretty tight on the head. http://www.headsetsdirect.com/plantronics/shr2083-01.html__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thanks for the advice. So...I went to my doc for my ear-cleaning procedure. My right ear is picking up all kinds of sound now. My left is still clogged, even though the doc swears she extracted a huge amt. of wax. I'll just have to "play it by ear" (so to speak) to see if it has any effect on my S4. G. Guest guest
Do these headphones cancel out the keyboard/mouse punchers? Some heavy handed people vigorously punch instead of pressing keys/buttons and even if it's infrequent it can get very difficult to cope with because of the loud popping sound. One guy near me does this and although gentle nagging has reduced the frequency of it I'd still like to see if I can block it out. If I use wax ear plugs under normal headphones I can cancel most annoying sounds out but the popping and pounding of mice and keyboards needs the addition of loud and noisy music to block it out which can negatively affect concentration. I tried to push forward a replacement of input devices and although some guys moved over to better keyboards, the noisy guys unfortunately didn't. Here's what I'm using at the moment:- http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2007/07/imac-slim-keyboard-1.jpg (excellent - I use a mac at work) and https://www.quietmouse.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper & Itemid=27 (very good apart from a sticky cursor issue I've just found - ie not sure of reliability just yet) I'm actually lucky to be where I am - I've been in terribly noisy offices in the past and relative to those experiences I'm in a good position. I tried to work from home in a previous job but I became isolated and various negative things happened as a result. Teleworking is becoming easier these days with technology improvements though..
