I can't find it right now and don't have time to keep searching. You might try doing some searches. It's been on several of the lists, perhaps even this one? It wasn't all that long ago that this study came out which surprised a lot of people in that it showed that regular (I'm pretty sure they were talking non pasterized) yogurt had higher beneficial bacteria counts than the highest count probiotic supplements. That doesn't prove anything about the bacteria's effectiveness, it's just information that is good to have. Not to mention real yogurt is cheaper and tastes better. :-) Plus, here are some other studies I came across while looking for the other one, which extoll the possible benefits of yogurt. Doesn't seem like it can hurt and might just help all kinds of conditions, perhaps by modulating the immune response. In the situation I described when I stopped abx, the good bugs still managed to come right back as the black tongue and fungal overgrowth died down within a couple of days. THAT'S GREAT. Lucky you! :)> Which reminds me, did you see

the recent study that showed just that? That a small amount of yogurt contains a far higher count of beneficial bacteria than the reportedly best probiotics? No, I didn't. Can you post it? That's very surprising considering all the crap they put in yogurts these days. Pardon my french...d.
