Guest guest
Standard Process operates an email group and bulletin board for customers and potential customers. You can access it here: StandardProcess/ I haven't quite been sure what to make of their supplements myself. I like the idea of whole foods vitamins, but I struggle with being able to believe that the absorption is so much higher that it can truly offset the very low potency. I've also noticed from reading their product information, that although their products contain whole foods bases, many of them also include the chemical versions of the nutrient in question. Good luck! Guest guest
I've heard from some, incliding a doctor, that products by Biotics Research are better that Standard Process ones. One place you can buy them on the net is http://www.dcnutrition.com/. Guest guest
Everyone: Standard Process likes to claim that its supplements are " whole food, " but they are anything but. As another poster correctly stated, many of their formulas contain synthetic vitamins and inorganic mineral salts--order a catalog and see for yourself. If you'd like a source of food-complexed vitamins/minerals with no sythetic isolates added, contact Doctor's Research at 1-805-489-7188. There is also a website(?): http://www.doctorsresearch.com. You'll find the potencies are MUCH higher than SP's blends. Also, you can read various papers on the better absorption of food-complexed nutrients over synthetic isolates in the MONITOR section at http://www.anma.com by Dr. Thiel.
