I've had a lot of experience with colloidal silver. It's definitely an antimicrobial. Just be sure you get a good brand, and not brown water, which is a strong possibility. Quality control is an issue in all the alternative stuff. I find it better for short term things like colds. Or using as a pool additive instead of chlorine. I saw a dentist who uses a microscope to show you what's in your mouth, and he claims that the only patient he ever saw with a sterile mouth was a guy who uses colloidal silver rinses every day. But I think Tony's right. While it might be helpful, I doubt if it's going to be enough to eradicate an embedded infection, which is what we're dealing with here on this list. I've personally found that betadine (iodine) and bleach work better than silver. My favorite combo is betadine to kill the bugs, and xylitol to keep any existing bugs from sticking. If you can

get these 2 things to the area that's infected, you'd be doing well. The problem is getting the solution to the areas that are out of reach. As far as I'm concerned, it's worth experimenting with any antimicrobial out there as long as there's no risk of making the bugs stronger or more resistant, and no risk of physiological damage (i.e. large particle silver can permanently turn your skin grey). For as long as you get results from some of these easily obtainable antimicrobials, it's smart to take advantage of them. penny dumbaussie2000 <dumbaussie2000@...> wrote: aThe right ones work well- they kill pseudonomas and many bugs...The only problem is that the caliber and depth of the problems we face can't be reached by colloidal siver. It's also important to know what your dealing with and the size of your problem- It's like serious IV's for a year are more appropriate for the massive infections we are dealing with?I think you may realise reading over at the lyme forum that what your dealing with is very common- unfortunately it cannot be blamed on lyme. I would start blaming staphs and pseudonomas if I really wanted to tackle my problems... which can also be addressed appropriately with the right combination of drugs- albeit difficult to treat.>> Just curious.> > a>

Dear Tony, I just heard, and wanted to extend my tremendous sympathy for your recent loss. I know how close you and your family are, and I'm so sorry that you've suffered this blow. I know without a doubt, from my own personal experience, that you've been a tremendous comfort to your family during this time. If you hadn't been there in my corner, I don't know what I would have done at times dealing with my own illness, so I can only imagine how supportive you've been for your father and the rest of your family during such a difficult time. I hope you're doing okay and are taking extra care of yourself. Please know my warmest thoughts are with you. As well as my deepest respect, always, penny dumbaussie2000

Colloidal silver, as you mention a decent brand, iodine, bleach, and a whole host of other measures all belong in the mix of trying to repair the many assaults on the body...just another interesting observation is that the zone that's infected

is the CO2 zone-The gases being breathed out are also required by bacteria to do there dirty work-RESPIRATORY-SINUS ZONE...> >> > Just curious.> > > > a> >>

  • 3 months later...

You should have seen my hair this afternoon . . .

I kept smelling something funny . . ..

Finally figured it out . . .

I'm firing my kiln today . . .

I scorched my hair when I looked in the peep hole!

Lucky it didn't catch on fire!

I hate when I do things like that. Don't put Mederma on it. (learned that from my curling iron/knee incident) Re: Re: Anyone tried Colloidal Silver?
