Guest guest
I live on the border and i often think of the toxins that are probably in our air & water here. The 'maquiladoras' ..i.e. 'twin plants' that existed here on both sides have resulted in babies formed w defects. Of course, there exists a 'hush hush syndrom' here...so we cant be 100% sure how we are being affected. > > USA Today has written an article about how Midlothian, Texas elementary > schools are exposing the children to the most toxic air in the nation. > This is largely due to the many cement plants surrounding the town in > addition to the more recent addition of a tire burning facility. > > MISD's school superintendent has issued a statement in which he assures > parents that their children are safe. > > However, I also read a recent editorial comment in the Midlothian > Mirror from a parent of a child with autism that states Midlothian has > the most children in Texas with Autism Spectrum disorders. > > Check USA Today to see if your child's school is being exposed to any > toxic chemicals! >
