Guest guest
Penny, I tried Benadryl last night and didn't take the 75 mg of Lyrica I had taken for two nights previous. The two nights I took the Lyrica I slept well without any 3 am anxiety attacks. I also wore the dental guard both of those nights without it even keeping me awake. However, as the next day wore on my head pressure returned at its usual level of pain. Last night I took the Benadryl but no Lyrica. I slept poorly with an anxiety attack - a very bad one - at 3 am and again at 4, 5 and 6. Now midday my head pressure is returning at the same level. It was somewhat better in the early morning, but that is typical. I took some Benadryl about 40 minutes ago. It doesn't seem to be doing anything, nor did it help last night. I am thinking I will take the Lyrica later this afternoon and see what happens to the head pressure. I did read where an 80 yr old woman developed intracranial hypertension or I guess it was hydrocephalous when she quit Lyrica without tapering off it. I don't know if that is a risk factor for me since no one has a clue what my head pressure is coming from anyway. I found it curious that Lyrica was approved to treat postherpes nerve pain. If I have a reactivated virus causing my head pressure, perhaps Lyria is exactly what the doctor ordered. I will post further as I see what happens. If anyone has any ideas on this information let me know. Thanks, a
