Guest guest
Hi I have taken 400mg X 3 times daily, off and on for a long time. Seems to help, JimD From: Penny Houle <pennyhoule@...>Subject: [infections] metronizadole question"infection & Inflammation group" <infections >Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 6:41 AM Hey all, Hoping someone can help me since I don't have time to look this up (am in the middle of moving). Does anyone remember the recommended dosage of metronizadole (flagyl) that some of the doctors we know use in their abx protocols? thanks in advance, penny
Guest guest
Thanks, Jim. Is that based on any particular protocol? I vaguely remember some protocols using a lower dosage (but that could just be wishful thinking :-). penny From: Penny Houle <pennyhoule (DOT) com>Subject: [infectionAndInflam mation2] metronizadole question"infection & Inflammation group" <InfectionAndInflamm ation2@grou ps.com>Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 6:41 AM Hey all, Hoping someone can help me since I don't have time to look this up (am in the middle of moving). Guest guest
I believe it was based on the Stratton protocol, and I only take it for 1 week at a time. I would need to go back and real my papers to be 100% sure Jimd From: Penny Houle <pennyhoule (DOT) com>Subject: [infectionAndInflam mation2] metronizadole question"infection & Inflammation group" <InfectionAndInflamm ation2@grou ps.com>Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 6:41 AM Hey all, Hoping someone can help me since I don't have time to look this up (am in the middle of moving). Guest guest
Be careful taking this drug for prolonged periods of time. I took for over 6 months on physician from Mayo Clinic. I ended up with Erythromelagia and it is very painful side effect from the drug. > > Hey all, > > Hoping someone can help me since I don't have time to look this up (am in the middle of moving). > > Does anyone remember the recommended dosage of metronizadole (flagyl) that some of the doctors we know use in their abx protocols? > > thanks in advance, > > penny >

Guest guest
Penny- What other drugs are you taking. The dose will vary depending on what you're targeting and what you're mixing it with.. Is this for a fungal infection? Famous Dr.C of Missouri prescribed it for me. He ramps the dose up from 250 mg using a 1/4 tab once a day, then twice a day and ramping up as tolerated. He wanted his patients to stop at the ramping dose that you felt well on. Here is a link to rxlist.com, it tells typical dosing per condition: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/metronidaz_ids.htmHope your move goes well as possible,
