Guest guest
I am getting over the cold and subsequent sinus infection. However, as the cold subsides the former head pressure, vertigo and confusion have increased. They did seem a bit better while I was sick with the cold. I am still taking Lyrica at 150 mg at bedtime and 75 mg at 10 am. Meanwhile I bought a product called Picamilon which is niacin and GABA bonded together. At first I took one pill. It might have helped - not sure. This afternoon I was feeling very spacy with head pressure and vertigo, so I tried 2 pills. So far the last hour I have felt better. The Picamilon is not cheap, but I would certainly try it at a higher dose if I thought it would work. Has anyone else heard of this or tried it? I am assuming it might do two things for me, increase blood flow to my brain and increase levels of GABA in the brain. IF this is what Lyrica might be doing, then it would seem Picamilon might be a safer, healthier way to do the same thing - namely balance GABA and glutamate. All of this is guess work on my part. No doctor I have seen has any idea what has happened to me in the past two years. The only thing we know for certain is that inflammation has increased, and I have severe, new, ongoing symptoms of something. I also have a second cataract in my right eye which is rapid growing. This is the side of my head where the original problem started. a Carnes
