Guest guest
unfortunately, this is one of those markers that is hard to interpret. It could be a sign of infection or inflammation but no way to know for sure. What does your doctor think? My experience is that an elevated SED or CRP doesn't spur much of a reaction other than "let's keep an eye on it". Sometimes you can start figuring out for yourself what conditions in your health or treatment correspond to elevated or lowered SED rates. penny From: amydent9 <amydent9@...>Subject: [infections] high sed rate?infections Date: Saturday, September 27, 2008, 6:46 PM I ahve hig sed rate of 64 in range is 0-20and CRP of 8.2 (which is in range /goes up to 10 in range)is this from the 8 months of ABX?or coming off the ABX abruptlylyme?metalsor bacterial infections?wouldnt the CRP also be high?/thus what does this result mean?thanks, amy
