Guest guest
Penny, I can't wait to see you. It's been 10 months since I danced in Statesville. You were so helpful during my preop process. I remember looking at you and thinking " wow, if I could actually lose that much weight some day " . Well, I'm now on my way and I look very different then I did that day of surgery. Thanks to all of you at CLOS! See you at the picnic. Guest guest
Hi Melonie, I'm so glad you are going to make it for the picnic. IT will be great to see everyone and catch up. I bet you look awesome. Its going to be very important that we wear name tags since it will be hard to recognize everyone. You take care and I'll see you soon. Guest guest
Penny, the Marshall Protocol cult came onto ImmuneSupport (apparently Amy Proal had been banned from lymenet last year, which I didn't know) and began to post about it as a miraculous cure etc. When others posted about their negatives, the original poster simply deleted the whole thread. I thought that was problematic so I began a new thread myself called Risks of the MP and basically tried to cut and paste some of that long lymenet thread we all contributed to last year. The cult members came onto this new thread advocating its wonders etc. One of them, Roy, debunks your posts, says you never had pseudotumor cerebri etc, says others who had problems didn't follow protocol properly etc etc. I'm not sure if you want to bother to set the record straight again but I always feel it is good to help people who are " newbies " and not such good researchers, just to show both sides of a story and not let lies stand. I don't know who Roy is nor do I care. I'm sure some people get better on the MP but as far as they're concerned there is no downside at all, even for those who almost went into kidney failure. I don't understand why they can't state benefits and risks but they seem unable to. Here is the URL for the thread, on which I am jenbooks13. http://www.immunesupport.com/chat/forums/message.cfm?id=1307141 & B=FM Roy's posts in which he rewrites your story are yesterday I think.
