If she could go every day should would not tantrum or be self-injurious ! Kathy testing How many children went to the doc because of a possible urinary tract infection while on or shortly after, and it came up negative? We had this happen after the Miralax, 13 times in a year, some came up positive, some negative. They didn't find out what it was, because they were'nt looking for it. You can't find it unless you test for it, and if they don't know what the body breaks it down into, then they can't test for it! Later on, after we figured it out, we found out it is oxalate crystals, burning and stinging the pee-pee. Unless they look under a microscope will they know, but if we don't bring it to there attention, they'll chalk it up as an infection. So, if they are peeing out oxalate crystals, and ethylene glycol creates oxalate crystals, they body must be breaking it down in the same fashion. This is why we're under the assumption that the body is breaking it down to it's original form, ethylene glycol. Make sure the urine is tested.
