Hi friends

Yesterday,I had a meeting with my son's school's head mistress.She

told me that children reaches a plato by the age of 14.Therefore they

are focusing to improve their other skills...The school's curriculum

based on this view..I don't know what is the school's curriculum

yet.My son is 14.The school accomadates children with autism and

children with other disabilities. She generalised the learning process

for all children in special needs.I believe that I also read

articles, some research about children with autism have different

pattern of learning .Could you share any research paper supporting

this view if you know any about this " plato " stage....please.

My son is still making progress..If autism is a developmental disorder

he must have more time to learn new skills..Am I thinking wrong?
