Guest guest
Wow, that is wonderful! I remember another post on possibly another list serve where the mom thought there was a connection between the GB and muscle tone. I don't know the history of your son and crawling but I want to warn you that sometimes low tone children can have problems with hip development. I certainly hope this isn't the case with Reece. We had to go through surgery for hip dysplasia and it certainly wasn't fun. You will probably see hugh gains, not just from the GB/prozac but also with him walking - everything works together. I'm so happy for you! His teachers and therapists are amazed at his progress. Reece took his first steps Nov. 22nd!!!! Utube attached! One of the biggest things we noticed (besides his motor skills) is that he looks more alert. Reece is now trying to figure out how things work, he's vocalizing more than he ever has, and as you can see...definately more mobile. Reece has been nonambulatory for 3 years. Now, all he wants to do is walk around. Yes, he is wearing me out and I am loving every minute of it!!! > > www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSGUG6OpI4Q > > Judy > > > >
Guest guest
Thank you so much, Marsha! We are SO excited for Reece. So far so good with the hips. We had Reece's hips and knees checked out twice by a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to make sure their wasn't anything physically keeping him from crawling and/or walking. I know he doesn't look very stable walking but he's actually improved since I filmed him last, so I think he just needs to keep practicing and just get stronger!
