Guest guest
Kate- thanks very much for all of the information about your family. The more information we get, the closer we'll come to understanding this whole phenomena. Give the boys great big hugs & kisses from me & mine. Luv to all, & Crystal Aquielle
Guest guest
My brother died just before his 2nd birthday, at the same hospital I took Isaac to in London (Gt. Ormond Street), so they had all his notes in the archives, he died 30 years ago now, so genetic testing was still fairly new, anyway, they also never really told me parents what my brother had, but reading through the notes it does mention 'possible Arnold Chiari malformation' - and also my cousin has a daughter with a severe seizure disorder (started when she was three years old). The geneticist we saw and also Dr Guerrini, felt there was no relation between these two situations and Isaac - my brothers problems where spinal, his brain was fine and his mental development was actually above average for his age and my cousins child is too far removed from Isaac to have a genetic link. Interesting though, how many of us have some relations with 'problems' Also, there has been some discussion on the Liss list about mothers exposed to chemicals while pregnant, my husband has an Auto Body Shop and sprays cars - it has been a concern of ours - but I was exposed to it on and off during both pregnancies and is fine? Just a thought? Kate and Isaac (Almost three!!)
