Guest guest
- If it helps I have been installing RGF lights for 2 years now and in larger buildings the ozone shouldnt be a problem due to the low levels in a smaller building I wire them to only come on when fan does rather than being on all the time. The odor is not all ozone according to manufacturer. Hope that helps guys -- In iequality , " Pat Moffett " wrote: > > Jeff, > > I would consider measuring the amount of ozone being produced at the furnace. > > > > > > > > From: iequality [mailto:iequality ] On Behalf Of May > Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2008 2:31 PM > To: iequality > Subject: RGF > > > > All: > > A while back there was some discussion about RGF®'s PHI-Cell > Technology that uses UV light and titanuium catalyst that creates > " hydro-peroxides, ozonide ions, super oxide ions, UV light rays and > hydroxide ions, all " friendly oxidizers " †" oxidizers that revert back > to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation of the pollutant " and > produces no ozone: > > http://www.aircareonline.com/guardianair.html > > I just saw my first unit in an office furnace; the UV lamp runs > continuously and the first thing I smelled upon entry into the office > was ozone. > > May > May Indoor Air Investigations LLC > Tyngsborough, MA > www.mayindoorair.com > www.myhouseiskillingme.com > >
