What is the meaning of Multiplex test of Igenex?

Hi,

My son is tested positive for Igenex serum multiplex b. burgdorferry plasmid and genomic.

For test explanation written 'Indicates that B. burgdorferi specific DNA fragments were detected in the sample'

But I was already read that b. burgdorferi does'nt 'like' to be in blood, it likes to stay in some body tissues like neurons etc. (sorry for my bad english I hope it's comprehensive)

So If , DNA of this bacteria exist in the blood serum of my son, does it meens that he has really lot's of bacterias in his body?

Or something else?
