Guest guest
Can you describe how to go about finding a special needs dentist? My son is terrified of the dentist (even though he's a good dentist that we like very much), and the dentist has so far failed to properly assess the state of his dental health. I'd be really interested in the possibility of finding a special needs dentist who might be more effective with my son. regards, Simon On Fri, Sep 19, 2008 at 12:02 PM, mcollins2001uk wrote: > I posted a few days ago to say that Henry's NHS special needs dentist > was on the ball about this already, in fact several years ago! > Margaret > > >> >> We were offered that plastic coating for Tom's teeth - as he hates the >> dentist and has to be put under. Guest guest
-Your own dentist should have this info and be able to refer you - thats what happened with us. If not your GP might know where the nearest one is? Its an NHS service. So if you have any NHS speech therapy, ot etc they will be able to tell you too Hope this helps x
