Guest guest
Hello all, I'm having my " teeth " cleaned next Monday...the first time in 3 years. You know, that deep, scraping, bloody, painful process that most people avoid, especially those who have a hard time healing afterwards... SO...I thought I'd put a feeler for any suggestions that might lower my stress level, and especially, SPEED the healing process. They're going to numb me up and only do one side at a time...with the next one scheduled a couple of weeks later, but I still dread it. I'm definitely not afraid of dentists -- just haven't been able to afford a decent one -- and while I have a lot of dental work that is long overdue, I figured I should at least get my teeth cleaned...and then try and keep them in better shape until I can afford the other work. At the same time, I don't look forward to a two hour scrape-a-thon. My gums bleed just thinking about it! Thanks in advance, Dan p.s. I was screened a couple of weeks ago, they said the pocket depths were pretty good, but still had lots of infection/swelling in the gums...
