Guest guest
I would use it in a more dilute concentration. I have popped the balls out of roll ons and put my own solution in there. I like to keep a 30% and a 50% roll on, as well as the 90%. DMSO Gel could be diluted with aloe vera gel. Garnet > I have the liquid in 70% solution from s Lab. > . Guest guest
Yes or you can buy MSM in bulk for much less at www.jeffersequine.com, but certainly what is in the capsules is fine. I figure out how much I want in a topical dose. Say I am going to mix up 8 oz and use 2 teaspoons for a dose (this is a lot to spread topically if you measure it). I calculate 144 teaspoons in 8 oz, so that is 72 two teaspoon applications. If I want 2,000 mg of MSM per application that is 72 x 2,000 = 144,000 mg Bulk MSM is about 4,000 mg per teaspoon, generally tells you on the bulk powder jars. Guest guest
Garnet: I have bought MSM by the kilo from Karl Loren. When arthritus is bothering me I take approximately 10,000 to 20,000 milligrams/day (2 tablespoons). Just spoon it put in your mouth and wash it down. The acter Coburn stated it did wonders for his RA. I use DMSO with Aloe Vera juice 99.8% and a samll amount of Ormus extracted from Dead Sea salt. The ormus settles to the bottom the the glass container that has a ban rollon type top on it. I can either shake it up to get the ormus dosage or just use it for the DMSO Aloe Vera. I do not have a supply of CS at present. A year ago I decided to use Silver Nitrate solution instead of CS; since all my applications for CS were topical. I do not like the idea of mixing DMSO and Silver Nitrate for topical OR ANYOTHER type of application method. With DMSO CS and CG are the alternatives I am going to use. I have tghe ablity to turn out CS right now, no big sweat. For Colloidial gold, however I need to pickup some glass tubing and build my 7500 volt 30 milliamp neon sign transformer CG generator as well as heat up and either roll or draw out some pieces of a Candian gold Maple leaf. This might relate to DMSO; I just purchsed a old portable Basic Gas Chromatograph. When (if) I getting it working it can be used to determine chemical composition and quantity on a number of organics, plant alkoloids etc. JUST ANOTHER TOY. Guest guest
Let me know how it goes with the CG generator. Particularly if you have it tested for particle size. That is the main criticism with the homemade generators. You can get the color and the concentration easy enough, but it is the particle size that is limiting, with clumps over 20 atoms. The particle size will not be apparent with any crude testing methods, but you can have a test run at www.purestcolloids.com and also read more about the particle size theory since that is Meso's main selling point over other products. Right now I am " testing " some Mesogold and Mesosilver against my homemade silver and " homemade " gold I have made using a neon sign transformer and a MOT (microwave over transformer). I want to see if I can detect any differences in myself or my dogs that I am using it on regularly, although all the parameters are not strictly controlled so it is really more of a " survey " to see where more controlled research could go. Guest guest
Does light microscopy allow one to determine particle size or shape? I can go up to about 450x. There is a device I used years ago called a Coulter Counter. I used it to determine the particle size on Ferric and Ferrous oxide particles. I believe it was originally invented and used for blood counts. We has poly monospheres back then for some of our standards. We also had a bottle of RAGWEED POLLEN. That would be bad if you were allergic to it. I have a Spectronic 700 Spectrophotomer B & L that I will take delivery of soon. With that insturment I should be abl to do meaningful particle size determination on Gold colloid; I am not sure about Siver colloid. The Coulter Counter I used in the late 1970's might turn up for sale on Ebay? I also have a portable Gas Chromatograph coming. LOTS OF TOYS!! I guess I have to consider myself an Expert TECNICIAN on GC? I knew everything and more on a little intro that I took on the web. It is supprising how much of the STUFF from my laboratory days I remember! The one modality of testing I really respected was AA Atomic Absorption. I do not think one can touch an AA for under $800.00 used? The modlity I was in AWE of was ICP Inductively Coupled Plasma. I guess after my various carreers in Chemistry I have a very good background that I could write up for a chemical consultant job? What kind of testing equipment do you have for your particle size determinations? Guest guest
Ocular micrometers are routinely used to measure size in light microscopy views. I doubt that this device would be sensitive enough for most things of which you describe. A few microns seems about the limit of such ocular micrometers. doug Re: DMSO>> >>> >Yes or you can buy MSM in bulk for much less at www.jeffersequine.com,>> >but certainly what is in the capsules is fine. Guest guest
Thanks, that was what my intution told me. Guest guest
Now wait a minute Daddybob! DMSO is a bi-product of the paper industry but it is derived from PINE trees. It is considered a solvent, and I do not know why it is not more widely used because it works so well, maybe the smell, people want things to taste good, smell good and feel good thus the medical mafia is in control. I have been there and done that. Almost died from drug interactions from taking 23 prescriptions and the good doctors approved this BS. I did not. I took charge of my own health and I am much better off for it. After your initial detox DB your system should calm down. Most of us when doing cleanses experience smells that are of the " outer limits " of imagination. Matches work good in the bathroom while cleansing by the way and they are cheap. I use a seasalt electrolyte cleanse that is very cheap and keeps my system purged of toxins and such. Still when ingesting DMSO I smelled. I was horrified. The cholorphyll works good for me so I continue to take it. It's also fantastic for your blood. If I were to start ingesting again I know I am covered because I take at least 3 gels a day of cholorphyll. I'm pretty conservative with DMSO internally. I have taken Glucosomine/Chondrotin/MSM for years every since my knee surgery, would never have allowed this had I know what I do now. Hingsight is always 20/20. Guest guest
DMSO Nature's Healer by Morton can answer many of your questions. I highly recommend it. You may be able to get it on interlibrary loan from your local library. Those services are often free or very low cost. Or you can order it from Amazon for about $11. It takes about 20 minutes to absorb, you can wipe off any excess after that amount of time or you can cover the area with a clean gauze or cloth, lay a piece of plastic wrap over it and tape it down to make a compress. This is the way professional athletes treat an area because it is the most effective way to treat an injury with DMSO, a constant compress. I am not sure if you are worried about DMSO ruining your clothes or if you are concerned about what is in your clothes that might be carried by DMSO if it were still on your skin when you put on your clothes. DMSO carries in molecules that are 1000 Daltons Molecular Weight or less. That eliminates dirt, bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma and even some molecules that are very large like hormones which although they may absorb through your skin DMSO can and will not carry them because of their size. Keep in mind that your skin is an absorptive organ all by itself and will l absorb substances without DMSO being there so it would be best not to expose yourself to those substances. It is recommended that you wash the area and rinse with clean water before applying DMSO. Use clean cloths for compressing or sterile gauze.
