[infections] Chinese Herbal for ACA -report on progress

Groups: Hmmmmm... I have been taking Wei Chi (WHich is an immune modulator- booster actually) off and on now for several months for ACA. And I have 2 main observations about it..1) I definitely have an immune response: cervical lymph nodes swell.. I get a slight head ache- and I feel "flu-ish" although I do not register a fever. This keeps me form doing daily stuff- so I don't continue to take it every day- and I'm no where near the dose my Chinese precationor told me to take. (I haven't taken it for about 3 weeks now)2) I have not gotten any more lesions (Yah!) - and all but 2 on the tops of both feet are either much improved or gone completely. The skin is a little different in their wake..In any case - I really don't know how to intterpret this..but it appears to be working.. although I could also argue that maybe these are remitting on their own...But the really GOOD thing is that I have NO new ones!.Barb------------------------------------

This does sound promising! I like what the description says about calming inflammation, too.

I believe that Chinese medicine has a long history of success. For me it's mainly been a matter of knowing which medicines to use and knowing whether the product you get is authentic, considering the way the Chinese government has interfered with the production of medicines there. I suppose that's where a good practitioner, or positive word of mouth, is needed to help make the right choices.

If you continue to feel this is working for you, I might give it a try depending on what happens with this immunologist/allergist guy I'm seeing.

Really happy you're having results.

Hey Nelly:

It's a powder.. dosed by body weight and has about 10 herbs in it..

Dr. Xie's Jung Tang Herbals Inc

Reddick FLorida 32686

But it has to be prescribed by a VMD or MD (I think)...

Yah- it IS good news- except I just can't take much or I feel sick..

SO I'm sort of juggling it.

You know how everything is so hard to interpret..

It's been about 4 years since my Lyme therapy- and this summer on

this stuff , I've had a few headaches that are reminicient of Lyme.

SO is that becuase of the WeiChi and my immune response ? Or Lyme

bacteria increasing their population..

I just don't know. I will resume the Wei Chi at some point - but you

guys know how it goes with me.. I hate doing anything that puts me

out of commission..especially now that I've been able to enjoy

relatively GREAT health compared to many previous years..

But I also know I can't Let Lyme raise it's ugly head again- so will

be dilligent..

I'll be ineterested to know if anyone else gets the same (physical)

response.
