I can't believe how much finding the www.westonaprice.org website has changed my

life. There are so many ways, it is hard to name them all.

First and foremost is the incredible health benefits that my family has gained

in trying to implement a lot of the info. I have no doubt that a very large part

of my daughters continuous journey out of autism is due to the diet info from

the website and info from _Noutishing Traditions_.

One of the biggest ways in which our lives have changed due to this info was

finalized this weekend. A dream grew out of our ever growing frustration to find

foods that would actually nourish our family and not harm them. We decided that

the only way to be able to really do this fully would be to have a farm of our

own. Out of this realization came an incredible thirst to learn of the

homesteading and farming lifestyle, and all that it entails. We have been

soaking up all of the info we could through books and online for about 1 1/2

years now. We had a 5 yr plan to be able to buy the farm that we wanted without

mortgaging ourselves into oblivion. Fortunately, God had different plans. He

literally threw into our laps the opportunity to start a CSA in Northern

Kentucky on 72 acres of some of God's most beautiful earth. We finalized the

deal this weekend when my husband was offered and accepted a job in the area

(which he will work until we are making enough from the CSA for him to be home

full time). The land is coming with a huge barn, 11 pastured Nubian goats, 40

free range chickens, 3 roosters, a bunny, about 11 barn cats, a greenhouse, a

root cellar, lots of little outbuildings, a HUGE garden space, TONS of pasture

and cropland and about 20 acres of woods, as well as use of the farm equipment

(tractor, hay bailer etc) that the people we are getting the land from will no

longer have use for. We will be getting a Jersey cow or two in the spring for

starters as well. Needless to say, we are overjoyed with excitement here, and a

bit overwhelmed as well, as we had thought we had at least 5 more years to do

research etc, and now here we are going into this and getting our feet wet VERY

quickly!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank Sally (and ) for all of her hard work in

going against the grain and getting this info out there. You have made the world

a better place to be, at least for this one family, and we want to thank you

from the bottom of our hearts.
