Guest guest
Bless you, Amy, for sharing this good news. :-) I hope it pans out because it would be a very welcome breakthrough. And to all those who insist on looking to a faulty immune system while failing to acknowledge the tenacity of the bugs themselves, please heed this statement by one of the researchers. "Bacteria have a habit of being able to get round any treatments we develop." Bacterial resistance is our adversary. As big or bigger than our own inherent or acquired immune system weaknesses. It's bacteria and their toxins that our community needs to spend more time focusing on if we want to beat these chronic infections and their resulting illnesses. I wish the people who spend so much time trying to convince people to take various immune boosting supplements would allow that reality to sink in so that perhaps they could shift their focus to treatments that actually have a fighting chance for success. penny amydent9 <amydent9@...> wrote: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7406832.stm
