Guest guest
Pectasol chelation complex is my favorite mop up agent.PramilaTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2008 3:21:43 PMSubject: Monolaurin Die-Off Help Hi all, My son is seeing Dr. . He recommended starting Monolaurin. I was giving him 4 capsules a day. He is also on Diflucan and probiotics. 4 days ago, he started a very strong die-off. Non compliance, aggressivity, pain (not sure where. He is non-verbal), and fatigue. I have had to cancel his school, ABA session and playdates. We cannot put his shoes on, get him to sit on the table. It has been really hard on him and the whole faily. I've tried giving him charcoal, motrin but no real results. I've scaled the Motrin down to 3 capsules a day. Any advice? Thanks, Nadia
Guest guest
I personally take Monalaurin for myself - and I had to cut back on the dose I was doing 3 caps a day to 1-2 a day because of the die off and side effects i.e. headaches/dizzness/foggy head/ upset tummy - so maybe cutting back would help for a few days then restarting at a lower dose. Just a thought, Lorina > > Hi all, > > My son is seeing Dr. . He recommended starting Monolaurin. > I was giving him 4 capsules a day. Guest guest
I strongly suggest to stop the monolaurin for about 2 weeks then start your child on only one pellet. I've been taking Lauricidin (chemical name monolaurin) for about 6 months now. It really kicked my butt. I had major back pain that sometimes shoots to the chest. I had to stop, take a break from it, then start up again. I have tried to ramp up again (the last time I tried to start with 4 pellets) and had to stop many times. I have concluded that I have to start with only one pellet and only add one pellet a week. I'm now up to 8 pellets with no herx. What worked for me in the herx was taking lots of magnesium. Also detox baths and magnesium lotion probably helped. Take care, Rich (skiweasel7) P.S. Feel free to send me private e-mail regaurding this. My family shares the same dr. as you. > > Hi All, > > Thank you so much for the help. Poor kid, I am sure that he was in so > much pain all over. Guest guest
Nadia, If your son is also refusing (or limiting) to eat, especially meats, it could be that there are too much ammonia (which is byproduct of dying candida for instance, not sure about other pathogens) in his body. I use Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid to absorb ammonia, 1 capsule an hour after Monolaurin/Diflucan, or even earlier and 2 capsules if reaction is too strong. AKA works well enough for my son that he doesn't need anything else. Hope this will help at some point. Dina. Monolaurin Die-Off Help Hi all,My son is seeing Dr. .
