Unfortunately....... the new paper doesn't even approach settling the issue. It

raises more issues. Tzerefore, mein Herrn in terms of clarity it is not exactly

on a par with the famous tuberculosis lecture-demonstration of Herr Doktor Koch

to a Berlin audience including Virchow and Ehrlich - the 'greatest lecture in

medicine' and the main reason I always wish dass I a belle epoque German scholar

myself waere. Actually I wish I were a belle epoque anything (other than a Freud

disciple), and also my descendants forever, I snarl at this World War world, all

Kali Yuga to the max for now 96 years...

Uhh, anyway, it's very easy to imagine that these other MLVs all behave the same

as XMRV (whatever that behavior is). And Mikovits states that she can find the

MLVs Alter/Lo found and has already presented about that at a conference - so

that seems to add up (pending publication).

What's not easy to explain is why Alter/Lo didn't detect XMRV. Unless it is just

a regionality thing, which is hard to ascertain. Where's it at?!

So, this paper has greatly revitalized and expanded this little field. But it

has not really clarified things at all, as far as I can tell (and I'm not a viro

man of course but a student of the bacteria).

And so it is time for another appalling entr'act in the waiting room of medical

world history! And then another paper! Aaiiiieeeeeeeeeee, this after an entire

year!!!!! Time for a relaxing hot bath or 60...
