Meg - Crystal eats finger foods. I have to watch her though. She'll choke

when I least expect it. With her, it's mostly perserverance. I just gave her

a very small bowl of applesauce ( with a small teaspoon ) . I checked her

about 10-15 minutes later, & the bowl was about 1/2 empty. I use sesame st.

plastic bibs with a small pouch in the bottom. There was applesauce running

down the bib & some in the pouch. I always make sure I wash these bibs VERY

well. I scoop the stuff off the pouch & back into the bowl. She usually gets

most of what I give her into her, but not always on the 1st try < grin > !!!

I hope this hasn't grossed you out !!!! I guess I could feed her, but, she's

getting big now. I want her to have a certain degree of independence...I

don't give her meat ( like steak, hamburger, chicken ) unless it's chopped up

VERY, VERY small. She usually just ignores it anyway. My hubby used the food

chopper last night to chop up some beef roast & sweet potato together. I

don't think she took more then 2 bites of it. I usually don't bother with the

food chopper anymore. She likes sweet potatoes, tomatoes, cheese, potato

bread, peanut butter, cream cheese, jelly, etc. I give her broccoli & /or

green beans at least once a day.Whether she actually eats it or not, is

another thing !!!

I try to give her whatever we're eating. I usually just give her very little,

to see how she likes it, 1st. If she doesn't like what she's given ( or if

she's just not interested ), she throws the food everywhere. YUCK !!!! She's

also famous for putting the empty bowl on her head ( & sometimes the bowl

isn't QUITE empty yet !!! ).

I hope this gives you some ideas.

Give Teddy boy a great big {{{{ HUG }}}} & kiss for us....

Luv to all,

& her everloving Crystal Aquielle - BPP
