Guest guest
Our Support group met w the new superintendent for the first time here. It was more of a relational meeting where we get to know him and where he plans to take the special ed dept. It was very positive. We learned that he is empathetic to the needs of special ed kids and will be willing to meet with us in the future w regards to any concerns we might have. Im very excited to see whatever changes he is going to make....ty for letting me vent.. marci
Guest guest
Marci, That's some exiting news coming from Texas !! It's always nice to hear a good report.. I've found that when you start off on a positive note with a positive attitude.. it normally 'positively' works !! I hope the new super makes some good adjustments for you and your childs program is beneficial. I think it's a good idea to meet with the 'super' if you are capable of - so many of them just wont take the time to meet with individual parents until there's some kind of problem and then it is very negative ! Good luck and God Bless.. E. , Sr. The Office of Advocacy for Autistic Children > > Our Support group met w the new superintendent for the first time > here.
