I see that as well, so when I tell someone to contact me offlist I usually

try to remember to add my full address.

Hi All List Members:

I'm at a loss. Many times someone says to " contact me off list " , but there

is no visible E-address, at least in the versions that show up on my screen.

Am I the only one with this quandry? How does one find the addys?

When you click reply, your email client will add headers onto the quoted

message. I have left yours below and highlighted the email address of the

sender.

Yahoo cuts out personal email addresses on their webmail, and some email

programs carry through that cutoff. Replying to an email will reply to the

group, not to the person, so that's not a reliable way to get the address

either. Janice, if someone says to contact them offlist and they don't

include their email address in the body of the email, feel free to write to

the list and ask for their address. That's the only surefire solution

because of the vagaries of the net.

In the example you gave, I forgot to give my email in the body of my

response. I always try to remember to do that. No one will fault you for

writing to the list and asking for the address.
