Guest guest
Dear Meg, Most (if not all?) lecithin sold as a supplement is derived from the sludge left after they have extracted the oil from teh bean. It is likely to contain hexane and lots of pesticides. This was the first attempt of the soy industry to make a profit from the waste products of soy oil. I think soyonlineservice.co.nz had more info on lecithin. There is no need to take it. There is good lecithin in butter, eggs, meat fat, etc. Sally
