Thanks for the suggestion! I also recently read at one site that it

can be mixed with soda so I was thinking about the sparkling juice

idea. You'd suggested that for the mag citrate a while back & it

worked for my son for some time. Of course, because I'm going after

the yeast, I'd love to get the supp's in without juice or sugar (e.g.,

applesauce), but I don't think that's possible!?!?!

I think the key with the charcoal is going to be not looking at it

while drinking it....?? It doesn't seem to taste like anything but it

makes it look like sludge!

Also - thanks for the link to the colon cleanse site - I had come

across the Okra enzyme part of that site once, didn't bookmark it and

couldn't find it again. I thought about trying the Okra Pepsin E3

product he mentioned, but after reading the other ingredients (bovine

orchic extract) I thought twice about it. I'm so glad you posted that

link because I thought he suggested other 'mucus dissolvers' beside

the Okra enzyme & I have been trying to find that page again and see

what others he recommended! Thanks!

Hi - Where do you buy your activated charcoal? Is there anything to watch for - is it all natural and/or organic or do some companies add stuff to it? Will this help with yeast?

Thanks a ton! :)

Activated charcoal helps with die off -- the toxins that are released

when yeast dies. Don't use too often -- it can be constipating. It

can also make the stools look pretty dark.

A good brand is Nature's Way (green lid). it's at most HFS and

online. And for once -- a product that's cheap!

Ours is made by " MMS Pro " . The doctor had it at her office. As far

as I know, the activated charcoal doesn't help control the yeast, it

helps absorb the toxins that the yeast release as they die. Some

people have pretty bad reaction to the toxins ( " die off " reaction)

I actually am thinking about using chlorella instead. I know there

has been discussion here about the benefits of chlorella before - I

just finally got around to reading more about it and am very interested.

I would use Kirkman's or a good name brand. www.iherb.com

is where a get lots of supplements due to the price and quality.

NOW brand is good and very reasonable. Currently I am using

"Nature's Way" Brand.
