From Modern HealthCare: Mariner to end contract therapy Mariner Post-Acute Network is closing its contract therapy business because of ``devastating cuts'' in Medicare reimbursement, a company spokesman confirmed today. The Atlanta-based long-term-care company provides rehabilitation therapy services through its Prism Rehab Systems subsidiary to more than 1,300 nursing facilities. Mariner will continue to provide therapy services for its own facilities. Contracts with non-Mariner facilities may be terminated as early as May 31. R.
