Guest guest
The " Dale Emulsified Norwegian Cod Liver Oil " by Twinlab that comes in orange flavor inspired me to take it in freshly squeezed orange juice. I and my body find it's a delightful experience! I've tried taking it with butter oil and it doesn't work for my digestive needs for simple combinations. - --- justinbond <justin_bond@...> wrote: > I've tried to take cod liver oil twice now (after > meals, btw), and > each time I've started gagging on it after a couple > weeks. > > Also, WAP gave cod liver oil with butter oil, > presumably to help the > absorption. Guest guest
-, Thanks for the great idea about putting orange flavored cod liver oil into orange juice. I didn't know they made orange flavor; I tried the cherry and wasn't happy with it. I was also thinking of putting it on fish-- if it tastes too fishy, why not put it on fish where the fishy taste belongs? Has anyone tried that? I'm thinking that either the mustard/lemon juice/herb sauce I use on fish might completely disguise the taste of the cod liver oil, but there's also the chance that it will just ruin a good piece of fish <g>. Butter oil as in clarified butter. Heat butter at low tempurature and skim the solids that come to the surface.
