Guest guest
Hello everyone! We've been down with the flu here (twice!) and haven't been in a corresponding mood to say the least. We are and Coady Marsh, parents to Trey (9) and (4-PMG). was diagnosed with lissencephaly/pachygyria at age 2. This diagnosis was revised when I sent his MRI films to Dr. Dobyns last September. is doing very well after his hernia surgery, with only a thin, little scar about 4cm long to show for it. He continues to attend pre-school at a wonderful facility that caters to special needs children, and also has a 50 - 60% enrollment of children with no disability. He receives speech therapy at school for what I call 'lazy talk'. He can enunciate rather well if you really goad him. He also receives OT/PT. 's main problem is the lack of fine motor abilities isolated to his left side (the PMG is isolated to the right side of his brain), and most notably difficulty using his left hand. He remains seizure free. I'd like to send best-belated wishes to all the birthday angels I've missed! Regards, Mom to Trey (9) and (4-PMG)
