Guest guest
Please see below. -----Original Message----- From: Carin Yavorcik Dear chapter leaders, Many apologies for the short notice on this, but we've just received word from AMC that the film shown this weekend will be switched from " Marley and Me " to " Bedtime Stories. " The reasoning behind this: " Last night I learned from one of our film programmers that in the film 'Marley & Me,' the dog passes away in an extended scene. Considering the potential devastating effect it could have on our guests, we are going to call an audible, and change the title for the Jan. 3rd showing to 'Bedtime Stories' starring Adam Sandler. Traditionally, Adam Sandler films play to a much different crowd - but our programmers assure me that this film is appropriate for our sensory-challenged guests. " I know the timing (holidays) is far from optimal, but any help you can give in distributing the new information to your Chapter Leaders (and them, in turn, getting this out to their members) would be hugely appreciated. " Our apologies for this, but we want to continue to do the 'right' thing for our guests. " Many thanks, Carin Yavorcik
