The skin condition has been a baffling problem. They put me to sleep for a c-section and I woke up with a red patch on my chest and when I enquired about it, they told us that it was an auto-immune reaction to the anesthesia (but not a life-threatening true allergic reaction)...yet that was my fourth surgery in my whole life using general anesthesia, and my second c-section to boot, and that had NEVER happened. For the first several years, until about 8 years ago, it stayed on my chest and then eight years ago it started to slowly around my skin... where it spreads it stays to some degree. Doctors have tried to cure it to no avail. Three years ago I was teated again as it began to spread again further over my body, and at that point they tried to treat it like it was a fungal infection, and I had an allergic reaction to the medicine they gave me that put me in the emergency room, THEN I had a very severe allergic reaction to the medicine they gave me to treat the allergic reaction and ended back up in the emergency room again. After that I refuse to let them try to treat it because they really DON'T KNOW what it is...I am so hoping this KT will give me some relief.
