Guest guest
I just learned that I was carelessly eight days past the window of time to get my quarterly Depo-Provera birth control shot. It's possible I may have gotten pregnant during those eight days, so now I am scared. I worry about my TSC and pregnancy. I know I can't take my Flexeril while pregnant, and assume the same may be true of Neurontin and Elavil. I've also been taking diet pills and tanning pills, so birth defects scare me. And since I've been on Depo, I stopped taking the extra Folic Acid needed to ensure spina bifida, which I have, doesn't occur with the baby. Also, pain and stress wise, I don't think my body is ready. I had my only child a year and half after my last tethered cord surgery in '95. It only took less than five years to re-tether. (Usually, I get ten years out of it.) Did the pregnancy make me tether sooner? I can't believe I was so careless about this!!! Amy S.
