Guest guest
Here is a banana bread recipe that uses ground up crispy almonds rather than flour. We have been getting off of carbs lately, and this recipe has hit the spot! Enjoy! Banana Bread 1 1/4 cups (packed) ground crispy almonds (I use a coffee grinder to get them as fine as stone ground whole wheat flour) 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted 1/8 cup honey 1/2 rounded tsp. baking soda pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 ripe and spotted bananas Put the bananas in a food processor and mix to a pulp. Than add reso of ingredients and mix until well blended. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 35 minutes or till golden brown. This makes a short dense loaf and it may fall, but it tastes good nonetheless...
