Guest guest
I agree, , that very rare or raw protein does much better with us than does cooked. We also seem to do a little better with the meat in soup... Sally explains that a bit in her book. The worst offender for us is hamburgers, broiled or fried, even if they're very pink in the middle. I would like to get more raw meat recipes. I've got a brisket of beef that I wanted to try the corned beef recipe with. I tried it once with a different cut and it was way too tough. Has anyone had success with that recipe? Also, if anyone has any raw meat recipes and in particular, raw liver, recipes please share. I would think there would be a way to culture or cure the meat and then turn it into a sausage that would be appetizing. I have taken to the fermented fish recipes and we have either salmon or tuna 2-3 times a week. The rest of the family would prefer canned but they'll eat the raw without too much complaint if it's chopped up small with lots of chopped up veggies and mayonnaise. Guest guest
Hamburgers are OK if cooked in a pan, not barbequed. Sally
