Guest guest
I have used Modifilan on myself and one of my sons. My other son (ASD) seems to react to Modifilan as well as iodine derived from seaweed. Do you think this is an allergy (he does have multiple food allergies) or some type of die-off? > > Oddly, I found only one company that makes Modifilan. But, many different > places sell this brand. Guest guest
I reacted to Modifilan at first. I just kept taking the one pill dose until I stopped reacting to it - a few days. I then increased the dose to two, reacted and waited, then increased to 3 pills twice a day. I no longer have die-off from it. It does boost immunity. and I seem to herx on pretty much everything. My other family members either showed no reaction or very little reaction to it. This is the pattern I always use to see if its die-off. I see if I continue to get less adverse reactions to the same dose. I do all kinds of tricks. I take things separately at first to learn of any reactions before I take things with other things, so I can see if its a reaction to other things or just typical for that supplement. If my adverse reaction continually worsens to a supplement no matter how low the dose and if I skip doses, then I figure it's just not working well with me. I have heard of people reacting badly to iodine. I have not looked into this, so I don't know if it's an allergy or from die-off, but I know that it is talked about. Some people are very sensitive to it. Of course, iodine can increase heart rate, so often it's only found in small doses.
