Guest guest
I don't know of books but I've heard good things about NACD www.nacd.org or Little Giant steps. There is a mom on CK2 who started her son at age 11 and he had great results. I know other moms with younger kids who have good results as well. > > Anybody want to share what books they found the most helpful for > interventions both at home and school? Guest guest
This is out of my budget, but it looks interesting. To anybody who is interested, you pay a membership (after an initial evaluation) and they re-evaluate your child every 3 months and train the parents how to do all the therapy, which is designed to be daily. As well as that, they are " on-call " for questions, advice and further training material in between the evaluations. Basically, they think it is more effective to train parents to work with their child every day than to have a traditional OT/PT/ST work with your child once or twice a week. > > > > Anybody want to share what books they found the most helpful for > > interventions both at home and school?
