Guest guest
As of now I'm back from break, fyi. If anyone has questions for me I have not seen the posts from the last week. Marge, It's interesting you were talking about this, because while I was away I decided I wanted to bring this up to the list. > I have a painful sore under my nose. > > I am so afraid of that man-eating bacteria that is now attacking children. They have unexplained fevers. If not treated, the bacteria eats into their organs and they have to have it cut out. Two have died. When well, they are still weak. It's for sure not just children. A friend of ours here fell 2 weeks ago and got a splinter in his hand, and now he's fighting the flesh- eating staph bacteria. Just like any other bacteria, these frightening organisms may be found pretty much anywhere. I have begun using KT cream on any cut or scrape I get. Obviously I'm talking about stuff that you don't go to the doctor for, nothing that needs stitches, but just the usual little stuff that some people (like me) seem to get a lot of, and others seem not to. Anyway, the reason I am doing this is because I've begun noticing that if I do use the KT cream (or a bit of SCOBY) as the healing medium, things heal completely and quickly. Otherwise, I'm starting to see, in the last year, little bumps form in and next to cuts that I think are probably staph. I've always needed to tend to cuts and scrapes, but this is the first time I've noticed with regularity that secondary infections are forming and really not clearing very well in some cases. Obviously what I've experienced are less malignant forms of staph if indeed it is staph, but my point is that the KT cream (or SCOBY) are so strong, the organism is so virile, that it really seems to wipe out anything else in its vicinity. I'm not saying I recommend those with the flesh-eating kind to use KT cream, but I am saying that I'm applying KT cream to breaks in my skin as a regular practice because of this weird increase in secondary (pimple-like) infections I've begun to see occur in otherwise normal cuts, scrapes, and splinters. How is it going with the treatment, Marge? --V
