Guest guest
Tishanne, Hi! If she is starting to go into a panic attack tell her to take a deep breath and hple it for a count of 20 slowly and the "slowley" release it and then do that about 4 more times. it will slow the heart rate down automadelly. Guest guest
Thanks so much Debra!StacieSent via BlackBerry by AT&TDate: Thu, 23 Oct 2008 20:27:49 -0400To: <AutismBehaviorProblems >Subject: Re: OK tomorrow! Please read please know your in our thoughts and prayers. i have gone throuigh panic attacks while pregnant with my second. and i understand your fear. debra OK tomorrow! Please read Ok ladies. I decided to email Miss Jenna about going on s fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Farm tomorrow. I was not going to and just forget about it, but I decided, no, I am not going to do that. I emailed her and said I just realized that tomorrow is the fieldtrip and I am the head room mom and I know you talked about me going, am I going, would that be ok? I am the head room mom and a few weeks ago Miss Jenna had told me I could go to that one probably etc so I was expecting to, but with all that has happened and less then a week ago, well, almost a week now, I was just not comfortable going so I was not going to go and just felt bad but I thought it was to soon. Well, I am going to go and some of you know, and some of you do not that I have dizzy spells I have had since I was a baby and my middle daughter who is 10 does too. THey have never found anything wrong with me and I have had every test under the sun done since I was 7. I was finally diagnosed with a panic disorder and agoraphobia and I am on meds and take emergency ones when I feel dizzy or it coming on. So, as you can imagine, I am a little anxious, but I am going to go. I can get a little dizzy to real dizzy where i cant walk to dizzy that my legs dont work for a while etc and even convulstions where I just cant get my grip. I have just fallen before and that has happened. Anyhow, I am asking that you all pray for me tomorrow. We are central time zone and the bus is picking us up at 9. Please pray for me then that I am ok, and the anxiousness will subside after a while, and that I dont get dizzy. It worked last week for the meeting when I was worried about that, and just everything from breaking down to what would I say to being nervous and really none of it happened and I did break down at the end but it was a good thing. Anyhow, can you all do this for me please? Thanks! Stacie Play online games for FREE at Games.com! All of your favorites, no registration required and great graphics – check it out! Guest guest
Hi Lois, you are wonderful, thank you! I had a panic attack once that got so bad I felt like I couldnt breath. I thought, " I cant breath,Oh my god! I'm gonna keel over " . Its right between that cry, dont cry point. I take really big breaths now- FIRST,lol. I didnt tell my daughter because I was afraid it would stress her more, like oh no, it runs in the family. Those military wives have so much stress. All of us do too. Stress sucks! Hugs, best wishes Tishanne > > Hi, Tishanne-- Well, I've had them while driving--I did not get dizzy with mine. Obviously, if she does get dizzy, the best thing would be to stay home, and or go back home...If she's strictly afraid of true " what ifs " ...sometimes we have to face it and come out on the other side seeing that the " what if " was a bluff... > > e > > > > Re: OK tomorrow! Guest guest
When I would get panic attacks I thought I was dying........Of course I wasen't BUT that is how it made me feel. I never got any panic attacks until 3 years ago. I also got a tingling up and down my arms right before it would happen. Lois (: Re: OK tomorrow!
