Guest guest Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 My son does have an extra long toe and a doctor friend who specialized in disabilities once noted that my husband had the same long one too. So they can't blame mom...I don't have it. And, my son has extreme bowel issues that went to the point where he had so many mega colon issues that his bowel muscles do not work anymore. He was in a training program to keep this from happening but the institution chose to stop doing the training without telling me, causing this nightmare problem. There is bi polar in the family...might be other things on my husband's side. My side of the family doesn't give me many clues. I did take a morning sickness pill but think his autism was caused because I had a serious virus at about the time of conception. He was born with autism.
