Guest guest
I have posted this question on neuroimmunedr.com, but thought I would also ask here. My son's doctor recently prescribed Gastrocrom for his food allergies. It is by prescription only. As I understand it, it is basically an antihistamine for food allergies. My son takes it before meals 3 times a day. It supposedly keeps the body from reacting to the food allergen. I am wondering if anyone has ever heard Dr. G. mention this. I am wondering if this could be a useful tool in cooling the immune response. Thanks,
Guest guest
It's the same type of med as nasalcrom used for nasal allergies. I'm not sure how he feels about the gastrocrom, although I'm certain he would not be in favor of using anything for the purpose of avoiding dietary elimination.
