Guest guest
This is a brief report on how children with autism may be hearing things differently. My son used to ask me a lot, " Mom, why are you talking all choppy " . He said I sounded like I was talking in a garbled, choppy manner. He would imitate it, like saying this: Why a re u go in or. He would say that we sounded something like that. This made me feel like his brain was not taking in information in a steady manner. That is what this little report says, thus, I believe it. I don't know if this problem happened in my other children since they started receiving treatment at a much younger age. Thus, I don't know how many have this problem, but it would explain why they don't seem to hear us when we talk to them. http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/12/02/autism-brain-waves.html Love and prayers, Heidi N
