Guest guest
I came across this information from a person who called me for help on his kombucha ferment. He had originally purchased his kombucha ferment from a Dr. Bob McCarty in San Marcos, TX... I have tried to contact Dr. Bob McCarty via a google search, internet check, email, but was not successful. The caller forwarded me the information I posted to this listed. If anyone knows him I would like to discuss this with him directly, and he can call on my toll free number (1-) The kombucha pineapple ferment is doing fine - according to the caller, but he is cautious about drinking it. Over the years I have found there are numerous methods for making " kombucha tea " and various claims on what's in it. This is one of the most unusual one's that I have run across. IMO, it is a local pineapple ferment (forgot the name) that someone (mistakenly) now refers to as kombucha. This is one example of the many claims of " kombucha " There is a rationale for experimenting and creating " strains " but IMO, one should not lose sight of what exactly is kombucha. live free and healthy Ed Kasper L.Ac., Acupuncturist & Medicinal Herbalist http://HappyHerbalist.com eddy@...
