Guest guest
Just wanted to share that for years I didn't even know I was sensitive to sound because I worked both swing sift and graveyard shift. Only when I got married and went to living the " day " life did I start hearing all these sounds that I was surrounded by that started driving me crazy...actually...if my husband didn't work days I would go back to " living " at night again...when everyone is at work...I am sleeping and when they are at home...I am working and I liked it just fine that way...there is a real sense of " calmness " at night when the world is asleep and I can really enjoy it. There are people who are actually " allergic " to the sun and can only live at night, that is my preferred time of the day and always will be... As far as noises that have been driving me crazy lately " cracking knuckles " is up there for me...everywhere I go...the dang salespeople, my husband, my grandkids, all crack their knuckles...must be a nervous thing for them but it makes me wanna slap them...sheesh... This is just something I was thinking about and wanted to share since it seemed to help me to work at night but I am sure some of you won't find this as any kind of an answer to the particular way you may suffer from this " disease " ....
