I love reading all the responses on this group. Everyone's

experience is a wee bit different, and people have different reasons

for drinking kt, and I respect them all. I read them all, and then

make my own conclusions.

Personally, I am drinking kt because I want to make a flavored drink

that I can have instead of drinking Dr Pepper, or other sodas. The

health benefits are a bonus for me.

Ed, and Benno, please do not stop telling us about the scientific

end of this. I'm not scientifically minded, and don't understand a

lot of what you say, but I am still interested. It's sinking in,

slowly. :-)

I made my own scoby from a bottle of plain GT Dave's. It grew, and

continues to grow, and acts just like the pictures I've seen of

healthy scobys, so I am assuming I'm doing something right. Doing

2ndary counter fermentations, and this last time I left a bottle in

the fridge for 2 weeks and really loved the taste of it. I need to

get at least 2 jars working at the same time now. I don't have

enough!

Health wise, I'm loving using kt for skin problems. BTW, my kt cream

formed a scoby on top, and even the liquid kt in a jar in my

bathroom cabinet is trying to, even tho it gets shook up a lot. It

has a large gelatinous, kt colored but clear squidly in it. I just

dip my cottonball in anyway, and apply (to sunburns, to itchy, rashy

skin, to shaving cuts...ouch)

I just wanted to tell everyone that I sincerely appreciate this

group,

a
