Seasilver

I've never asked this question for fear of seeming stupid. I Don't take

pills, but do eat home-grown foods. Our water comes from a well and has been

tested, we don't need to do anything to it, or add things back. I've not paid

much attention to all the new things going on and feel a little left out,

here's the question:

Are people really eating silver? Real silver? As in the metal.

Thanks,

Belinda the dumb farmer

Ionic silver is somehow different from the silver my ring is made of?

People are taking this to prevent a virus?

I've tried it and have known several others who have tried it and we all had

good results. The problem I have with it is that I don't think it is a good idea

to take colloidal silver on a regular basis because I think it can kill the good

bacteria as well as the bad. I would only take it as a medicinal product on an

as needed basis (to address bacteria, fungus/yeast and virus's). I know of a doc

who has a money back guarantee program for people with chronic fatigue. It

involves taking 16 oz a day of Seasilver (1-2 is the recommended dose). If after

1 month you are not significantly better, he refunds your money. I think he gets

good results.

I was working with a boy who had ADHD and his mom didn't want to use drugs

(which the school was pushing). We started him on seasilver and were slowly

increasing it to 3 oz a day. One day he snuck into the refrigerator and drank

about 12 oz of it (he loved the stuff). His mom said later that day he threw up

some mucous looking stuff and then afterwards seemed to feel great. His behavior

improved markedly and he was able to make it in school without drugs.

I think the company that makes it is not that ethical though. I called and

talked to one of the docs who helped develop it to question the effects it has

long term on the intestinal flora. He had no scientific studies to back up his

claim that it doesn't kill the good bacteria and was not interested in making a

sister product that leaves the silver out (so that we could use it as a whole

food nutritional product on a daily basis). There is a similar product that does

not have the silver in it called Body Balance. I never got around to trying it

though.

Has anyone tried Seasilver? If so, what do you think of this product?

It's ionic silver - very few ppm. It's an anti-viral. However, i would prefer

not to use it every day, so I'm checking out Body Balance.
